We are thrilled to announce that Zieba Builder’s Designer, Kelly Bogdanoff is now an AKBD (Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer) certified professional. A design graduate from California State Long Beach, Kelly has been with the Zieba team since 2011, designing many of our client’s kitchens and baths. To further her design education and goals, Kelly has spent this past year working towards the AKBD accreditation that is awarded by the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), the premier association for kitchen and bath professionals.
AKDB certified professionals are recognized as experts in their field for their extensive knowledge in kitchen and bath design, construction, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. To receive the designation, designers are required to have at least two years of design experience, one year within the kitchen and bath industry, 30 hours of NKBA educational courses and completion of an extensive exam. This combination of experience and education ensures that the AKBD is a trained, qualified professional in the kitchen and bath industry.
